About Jack

Heather Schoenrock (Jack’s mom) and Connie Pope have been great friends for years. Heather loves to cook. Connie doesn’t. Both wanted the healthiest, most nutritious and delicious baby food for their babies – and so the seed for Jack’s Harvest was planted.

We both left successful careers to become “stay at home” moms when our daughters were born.  Years later, when our boys were born, we came up with the idea (over a playdate) to start a frozen organic baby food company.  Founded in 2007, Jack’s Harvest, named after Heather’s son Jack, has been an amazing entrepreneurial journey for us both.  We’ve learned a lot, met amazing people and become even closer friends.

There is always something exciting going on in the Jack’s Harvest kitchen and we hope this blog will be a resource for our Jack’s Harvest moms and dads.  We will be posting recipes, green tips, notes from members of the Jack’s Harvest team, and highlighting products we love.  We look forward to blogging (which we both think is a weird word) and welcome you to our Jack’s Harvest family.
